Welcome winter!!!

I suppose it has been a really long time since I have posted on here! Oops. I was hoping this would be a journal of my pregnancy, but I have definitely neglected that thought. I guess it's time to try this again. It doesn't feel like there is too much to share, but I'm sure I'll think of something as I go.

Andy and I are back in Idaho. We just love it here. Sadly, we aren't in rexburg anymore though. I do really miss the atmosphere of Rexburg. And, oddly enough, I really miss school. Maybe not the homework or annoying teachers or brown noser girls, but I miss the stuff I learned in classes. I feel out of the loop because I'm not in school or living near the school, but there are some perks to living in Idaho Falls. Perhaps the best part is the fact that we are close to Sam's Club. I realize that makes me sound like a nerd, but please... We are talking about free samples every Friday and Saturday!! And Andy and I can share a meal there for $3.00! What's not to love about that, right?

If anyone is reading this, then I'm guessing they just want an update on the baby. So, here it is... The baby is great! Healthy and growing. Still making me very sick everyday, but we love it anyway! The last time I got an ultrasound, the baby was just waving to me the whole time. It was pretty cute! I was sad that Andy didn't get to see it. Luckily, he will be able to see the little bundle of joy in a couple weeks. That is also when we will get to see a lot more than a waving baby!! We will get to see either a baby girl or a baby boy! I'm sonexcotes. Then, maybe, we will be able to pick a name ( I highly doubt it though)

Sorry this post is so long! I would try and post pictures but I never take any and I'm blogging from my phone, so I definitely don't have any pictures to post! Hopefully I will be better about blogging i would love to have record of all the fun times that Andy an I have!

Ps. My husband is the greatest. He has been such a trooper! He help me with cleaning and cooking all the time! In fact, he made me a great breakfast this morning. I couldn't imagine going through all this with anyone else!

July 12, 2011

So, in my last post I said that I haven't had any pregnancy symptoms. I think I was wrong. Sadly, I had my first emotional pregnant moment today! I was calling a couple different doctors to see who could get me in to have blood tests and all that. The one doctor woud not take me as a patient because she will only be able to see me twice and won't get paid enough on it. The other refuses to see me until I am 8 weeks along. For some reason, I was so offended that they would send me away! I am a new mom and I have no idea what I am doing; I just need a doctor to guide me a little! So, I hurried and got off the phone and cried! I was really embarrassed haha. I guess it's normal??

Another embarrassing moment occurred yesterday. I had just moved in to our new apartment all by myself and was so tired. I laid down for a while, but just started feeling really nauseous. Because I had just moved in, I had absolutely no food. I was really worried about going to the store when I felt so sick, but I got the courage to go. So, I made it to Wal-Mart and started rushing to put things in my cart and get out of there. Then, it hit! My nausea was too much to handle, so I ran toward the bathroom. I stashed my cart and ran as fast as I could into the bathroom! Imagine my suprise when I see a man in his military uniform walking toward me!! I just stared at him as he laughed at me. I walked as fast as I could out of the bathroom. There was a man standing there and he said, "I saw you going in there. I should have told you it was the men's bathroom, but I decided you would figure it out eventually." RUDE!! I would have appreciated his correction!

Well, I think Andy and I are going to tell our parents this weekend! Because the doctors won't help me out, I feel like I need my mom and mother-in-law to guide me. I'm nervous to tell people because it is still so early, but I think I will feel a lot better if I can talk to someone about it. Hopefully I don't have anymore embarrassing stories before then!

July 9, 2011

Well, this is officially my first blogging attempt! I feel like I should start it off with "Dear Blog...", or "Dear Diary". That feels weird, too! The whole reason I started this blog was to be able to journal about all the fun that Andy and I are having. We tend to have some crazy adventures because we are moving around so much. So, I want to keep track of the good times we are having!

Right now, we are living in Arizona for the summer. We were in Oro Valley (Tucson), but just moved to Yuma today. To be completely honest, I DISLIKE ARIZONA! It is hot and gross and brown. The upside is that the people are nice and work is going really well. Andy and I are really enjoying work right now. We have really weird hours and we work with some difficult people sometimes, but it is definitely worth it.

I decided a few weeks ago (when I first made this blog) that I would want a blog when I got pregnant, so I could keep track of everything. That way I can keep family updated and compare for later pregnancies :) So, this bring me to my next point: I'M PREGNANT!!!!! We found out on Saturday, July 9th (the reason that this blog title is July 9). I haven't been to the doctor yet, so I guess things aren't officially official, but this blog is my way to tell someone the exciting news without spilling the beans to everyone yet!

So far, I haven't had tons of symptoms. I have been pretty nauseous lately, but it hasn't been too big of a deal yet. I have a feeling that once I get a little farther along I will see more symptoms. I didn't realize how little I know about pregnancy until a couple days ago. All of a sudden, I thought I have no idea what I am doing!!!! So, I went and bought the book "What to expect when you're expecting". I really like it. It's rather comforting for a first time pregnant lady!

Anyway, we are just so excited to be expecting! I have never seen Andy so excited as when I told him! He just kept saying, "We're having a baby"! I can't wait to be able to go to the doctor and get a due date and all that. Anyway, I think that's all I have to blog about right now. I feel so relieved that I can freely say that I AM PREGNANT on here!!! I am so looking forward to telling our families :)
